Just visited my medical oncologist Friday, after appearance of a new neuro tumor, and a lot of interesting success has been found with the infused drug Zometa. It's been used for bone cancer and breast cancer, but they are finding success with neuroendicrine tumors as well. Two of the few specialists on these tumors, one at Dana Farber, one at Ohio State have done a lot of research on it and are using it. Might be worth checking into.
