Dear Friends:

I can't thank you enough for the generous support and great advice you have given my husband and I thru the process.  I want you to know that we were given the blessed news today that his nasopharyngeal and neck tumors are gone!  His PET scan and head and neck scope were clean.

There are many things that contribute to the success and survival of cancer patients and their families.  I truly believe one of the greatest contributors is knowledge.  Not only can you have useful and applicable information but you can also feel empowered during a time period where the "cancer" seems in charge.

I never believed this though.  I never believed this because of people like you.  Those who empowered me with information, friendship and support.  Faith is an amazing thing but it isn't just found straight from the heavens.  It's given to us in small ways that build upon each other and form the firm foundation for us to stand.

Thank you for being my pillars.

Much gratitude,

Kara

Continued success and hang in there.

Oh, that is even better news!  I hope to be sending the same email note two years from now.

Keep up the good work!

Congratulations to you and your husband.

That first clean scan is the best news you can get, I hope he has many more.

Knowledge is power, and I wish that I had found this site when I was diagnosed, rather than after my treatments were done. I'm certain I would have had a much easier time had I known then what I know now.

Best wishes to you and your husband,

Mike

It's not better news.  NOTHING is better than the first clean scan!

Congratulations! It is wonderful to see the results of staying with the fight and taking all the steps to be healthy again. Inspiring to know you have learned a life lesson about faith and not looking for it 'outside' of yourself. Beautiful news on a beautiful summer day!
