Salt Question During Lid

Subject: Salt Question during LID
Date: 06/10/2008

I am wondering about Morton's salt. It says no iodine on the package and I went to their website where they show that two of their products have iodine, both have the word iodized in the name. It says that their regular table salt has no iodine.

So, is it safe to use this salt? My doctors and everything I have read say we can use the non iodized salt during the LID time so I have been using this one. I just got nervous today that perhaps I am doing something wrong.

Thank you

Mortons without the word IODIZED in the title is absolutely fine. I just cam off of LID, had all of my scans and am told that all the tests did what they needed to. Sprinkle away!!! (Too bad that restaurants etc. didn't use it in cooking... LID would be a lot easier!) RedStar
