It does sound extremely high to me, although I do know from personal experience that the suggested dosage for RAI depends on your doctors opinion. From what I've read, there are some vague guidelines used to come up with dosage, and some doctors are much more aggressive than others. But what makes me worry it a little more is the number of times you've done it. I do know that some people who are or have become resistant to iodine, which means any radioactive iodine won't be absorbed by the thyroid cancer cells... and no progress is seen. I wonder if that's your case. Could you ask your doctors about iodine-resistance? Or maybe get a second opinion? That seem like a lot of exposure to RAI. BEST OF LUCK!! Keep us posted!
