It's Time To Say Goodbye.

Hello all. My mother passed away July 2nd 2007 from lung cancer mets to trachea, both adrenal glands,brain. My life is not the same. I miss my mother so badly sometimes the pain is not bareable. I am so angry and everyone but at no one at the same time. This was God's plan to take my mother. I guess he needed her more then we did. So now coming up on her one year anniversary I have to say goodbye. I am not going to let myself come back to this website. I have to move on. I have to let go. I have to find a way to get rid of this anger I have. Her death has effected me in so many ways. It's time that I reclaim my life. I need to be here for my three boys and my husband. My mother would not have wanted me to live this way. She was happy to go. She made her peace and couldn't wait to go meet God. She was such a beautiful person. So take care everyone and keep fighting. And always remember to tell your loved ones that you love them every day. I wish I could just hear mom say she loved me just one more time.

As you are coming up on the anniversary of your mom's death, I am just beginning to take care of my mother who was diagnosed with RCC of the lungs 3 weeks ago.  She had her left kidney removed 6 years ago and we were told that she would be fine.  She didn't have insurance for 4 years after that and she didn't keep up with Scans.  She is now 65, almost 66 and is on Medicare.  My heart broke in half 3 weeks ago.  She had a lung biopsy done and during the procedure her lung collapsed and we were told that she would never wake up.  We decided to honor her wishes of DNR and we took her off of the ventilator.  She woke up wanting coffee and ice cream!  She starts chemo this week and I am really nervouse about it.  I usually have a positive attitude about things, but I don't have a good feeling about this............

I don't know how I will ever get through life without my mom.  She has been my rock for 42 years now. 

Please know that you are in my prayers!!  Know that your mom is smiling down on you!  I truely believe that!
