yes, I believe 6 every 6 months from 95-98. First 2 weeks after second surgery. No, Problems then except being off my Levo thyroxin. About 10 years later starting having problems, but in this game of life as to thyroid no two are alike. RAI is scary but the treatment was well tolerated. I know you are scared and fighting the medical is daunting. I was lucky in my health care professionals. But there was time I went through doctors like a "gotta go" commerical. I got my first two degrees from college during the treatment. I had folliculr thyroid cancer and having Cancer is still not acceptable and this one is a doozy as far as input from friends eetc, but doctors that say it's in your head, that is such a crock of !!!!!, I will not dismiss what you are saying because I have had some crazy things happen, I mean out there weird. This may pass due to the RAI, or maybe its the unique individual you are that your body has choosen to fight with you in this battle. I am not a medical pro, But do this, the RAI, is better than having that little monster move in to other parts. With RAI you fight the bigger monster and then you deal with the menions later, not the other way around. My big monster had a definite hold since it was approximately 13 years old when it was found hidding and living large inside my thyroid gland.
