Radiation is the usual follow-up after chemo. What are you really afraid of? Goodness, you have endured chemo which I am sure must be worse. Research, ask questions, get several opinions, and just be proactive about your health. I had 10 radiation treatments via a mammocite device--a tube with a little balloon on the end was inserted directly where the tumor was removed (behind the nipple). A little seed of radiation traveled through the tube and got in there and "blasted" the area for a few seconds. This was done morning and afternoon for 5 consecutive days. It was exhausting--I slept a LOT. But--it wasn't painful or horrible. Look at all your options. Take care!
