My 65 yr old gram has NSCLC which has moved to the brain, spine and bones.  She is now having trouble urinating and her legs are swelling up.  What does that mean??  Is this the begining of the end??

How is her health otherwise? I remember about 4-5 days before mom died they put a cath in and her urine was very dark and had red particles in it. They told us this was her kidneys shutting down. I am in no way saying this is what is going on in your situation. I would give the doc a call and see if they can help you out.
