Husband Has Mm Thoughs On Ctca

My husband was diagnosed with mm on April 29, 2005 after a MRI on his back. He had a tumor on his T-6 He had surgery to remove that on May 1st. Started radiation treatmen on the 24th of May for 10 treaments. He than got pnumonia was hospitalized for 10 days. Now he is doing better, still real weak. What is next? We have a dr appointment at Cancer Treatment Centers of America on July 28.

Hi..... my husband has Mm as well: diagnosed in June 2005, chemo for the past 6 months and now scheduled for stem cell transplant in a couple of days. He has now "shut" me out of his treatment preferring to deal with his son (from a previous marriage). Does this happen to others... where your spouse prefers to take this journey without you? pls advise

So far my husband has not had any other treatments for his MM. He only has 10% of myeloma cells in his body so they said there is no treatment so far. He does get a Zomita treatment once a month to keeps his bones strong. But, he does have lots of pain in his hips and shoulders. So far I help him with all of his meds and go to all of his Doctor appts. But I would very much like to keep emailing you. No one around here knows what use care givers go through.
