I've been told to eliminate fruit from my diet because of the high sugar content.  Correct?

NO!  Fresh whole fruit is very important for your nutrition.  Eliminate white sugar (also called cane sugar on ingredients lists) or anything sweetened with it.  Eliminate anything sweetened with corn syrup too.

I found a visit to a nutritionist and a naturopathic dr. to be very helpful and informative both during and after treatment for breast cancer.  That's where the above info came from.
