Dr Budwigs diet

I hope anyone reading this can help! My 84 year old mother was recently diagnosed with stage IV Lung cancer which metastasized from uterine cancer. She has mets in her bones, chest cavity, and lymph system as well. She has back problems, poor leg circulation, and is currently taking Coumadin as a blood thinner because a clot traveled to her lung.

I want to start her on the Budwig diet right away. However, since the Flax oil is a blood thinner, I'm afraid to do so and I'm sure the "traditional doctors" caring for her are going to say no way! Does anybody have any experience taking this diet with blood thinners??

My friend's dad was on coumadin and had lung cancer as well. He began the Budwig diet and had his blood checked often. His doctor was able to reduce the coumadin as he continued the diet. It's good to eliminate the toxic effects of this drug. Eventually, he was able to go off of it completely as he used flax oil daily. He began getting stronger and is still getting better weekly. At first he was practically bedridden and now he is walking around, sitting out in the sun and feeling much happier and optimistic.
