I took some time today to read through the message boards and with each story I read, I felt saddened by everyone's situation. I lost my father in June/05 and I am here to help spread the words of hope, faith, belief and a shoulder to lean on, should someone need it.
No matter what, do not give up hope. Hope is the human-driven emotion inside us all that gives us the strengh to stand when we feel like we can't; it gives us the ability to believe in something, even when it seems like there's little to believe in; and it gives us restoration of our faith, so that we can know beyond the shadow of a doubt the things we cannot see but yet hope for.
Every day can be such a trying day. Even after my dad's passing, I feel deep within my soul, that there's still something I CAN do. At my place of work, I am trying to organize a corporate-wide Cancer Walk and this organization stretches from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Michigan to Indiana to Kentucky and other parts of the country. If I can only help to right the wrong then I will have done what I set out to do. Yet, if I can only make one man aware...one person care, then I'll have done what I promised my father.
Everything we need is inside of us. Just reach in there for it. It may be dark, but there is light. It may be cold, but there is warmth. It may be impossible, but with God, everything is possible.
God speed to you all.
