bakeing soda and maple syup

With what Iv read. Im going to try the bakeing soda and maple syup protocol has any one tryed this yet. And if you have let me know. I cant under stand how  the baking soda gets past the digestive tract. Some have suggested that with the combination of baking soda and maple syrup in the stomach creates carbon dioxide which is helpful in treating cancer I suppose. Iv read, that in Rome,with Dr. Simoncini treatment. The baking soda is injected. so please any insite let me know you all take care now Ray

Not much of an answer through. Just give me more Questions.  I got this little bit at the botom of this post from the website you sent me to. Has any one tried the Kelmun protocol yet if no. Then I will try it for three months and see what results I ll do a report on it after the three months Ray  

This was sent to me by a member of this site who has tryed Kelmun protocol  and said to me they got a good results but I wan to hear from others who have done the same thing good or bad let me know Ray

The treatment is a combination of pure, 100% maple syrup [bulk Grade B from the health food store] and baking soda and was first reported on the Cancer Tutor site. When mixed and heated together, the maple syrup and baking soda bind together. The maple syrup targets cancer cells (which consume 15 times more glucose than normal cells) and the baking soda, which is dragged into the cancer cell by the maple syrup, being very alkaline forces a rapid shift in pH killing the cell. The actual formula is to mix one part baking soda with three parts (pure, 100%) maple syrup in a small saucepan. Stir briskly and heat the mixture for 5 minutes. Please be careful with any baking soda treatments you might decide to try.    Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate (an alkaline salt) - often used as an antacid to treat heartburn and indigestion. Some people use it  with water for brushing their teeth.  While baking soda can be taken safely internally mixed in water or
other liquids (including maple syrup,) prolonged use can cause some
serious problems with the body's metabolic and respiratory acid/base balance and kidneys.  IV sodium bicarb is used to treat hyperacidosis (body pH too acidic) but emergency IV treatment has been known to cause sodium (salt) overload, metabolic alkalosis ( body pH too alkaline) and congestive heart failure.

Do not, under any circumstances, take baking soda and vinegar together as a treatment.  This combination is ok when added to dough and  batters to make them rise, but the combination taken internally just by itself can cause severe burns of the mouth, esophagus and stomach.

If you want to get started with an excellent resource on alternative treatments for cancer, read Ty Bollinger's book, "Cancer: Step Outside of the Box."  You can get it from his website, www.cancertruth.net

Thank you  tre and thank you also shemay after what you both  explained to me I think Ill leave it alone at lease untill I know more about it. Iv come so far with my cancer I waried about going back to what it was before thanks to the good people on this site your advice has help in more ways than I could ever thank you for. I just been told by three cancer patients there cancer beter because of a product called FLor Essence tea dos any one know about this if you do let me know,, take care, and may God watch over you, and bless you Ray 

The premise to that treatment is totally bogus: that somehow the maple syrup delivers the baking soda to the site of the cancer and the cancer ingests it because cancer loves sugar.  The body's digestive system breaks food down and their is simply no way any baking soda/syrup combo could enter the blood stream and reach a cancer site.

The cancer tutor site is a wonderful one and is ran by a good friend and colleague of mine.  Another such site is the Minnesota Wellness Directory (http://www.mnwelldir.org )

thanks both are good sites Yep I think your right I v had a few members say the same thing so I not going to do it I cant under stand why any one would put this forward as a cancer treatment when we as cancer patient are  fighting for our lives

I am not sure how that got started.  Sometimes such bogus treatment options are put forth by those kinds of vultures who wish to prey on the hopes and fears of those who are seriously ill.

In this instance I think perhaps someone saw the successes of Doctor Simonini in Italy with intravenous sodium bicarbonate and thought they had a clever idea and then the idea was spread by those who did not stop to think or did not understand how digestion works and ultimately took on urban legend status.
