I had a left mastectomy with lymph node removal and it was two and a half months before I could start doing exercises to improve the range of motion of my left shoulder.  I still only have about half the range of motion.  I was told this never happened to any of my doctors patients before.  Please tell me did it happen to you??

I had a bilateral masectomy with recon and it took me a 18 months to get to were I could work my shoulders and half way get myself in and out of the tub.Just slowly keeping working the shoulder it will get tired easy. There is no easy fix just takes time. And I can tell you from experience that all of the masectomies have problems I work in a dr office.Just take care of yourself. You can put hotpacks or cold packs on your shoulders.Take care
