There are some medical doctors who practice complementary or alternative medicine who give Intravenous Vitamin C. Also many naturopaths and homeopaths also offer this treatment. Here are two links to directories that I hope will be helpful for you. http://www.cancure.org/directory.htm http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Alternative/Naturopathy/Practitio

I live in Northern Indiana and get 50,000mg of Vit C infused once a week with a little B12 for energy. (have had as much as 100,000 mg) It is a great Immune System booster.  I go to Crossroads Healing Arts Center in Goshen, IN.  I know Born Clinic in Grand Rapids, Mi also offers it.  I was diagnosed stage 4 colon cancer with liver mets in Oct 06.

Congratulations kimmiejo Not too long to go until you are at the two year mark. Good on you!!! I just posted a reply to a member on the colon cancer board before I read yours...titled "Quitting chemo" from will-n-kimberly and I thought your message might be an inspiration for them and give them hope. I too took weekly 50gram Intravenous Vitamin C/lipoic acid treatments and now just do one every six weeks or so as maintenance. I m now past the four year point with no signs or symptoms of the non Hodgkin's I was diagnosed with. Too bad mainstream medicine is so slow in recognizing this gentle effective treatment. Continued good health

What other treatments have you had (chemo, radiation, surgery, etc) and what is your currernt status.  Was it the vitamin C alone?  Important data for all of us who have had and are surviving colon cancer.   Thanking you in advance.  God Bless and good luck.

Thank you for responding to my message. I hope this treatment greatly improves your health. I have stage IV metastatic breast cancer that has gone to the lungs and the liver. There is some indication that it may be in my spine too. I have just had a CT scan and a nuclear bone scan. Will know results in about 8 to 10 days. I live in Connecticut. Someone told me there is a NA doctor in Orange, Connecticut that gives this treatment. I was wondering if there is a master list one could reference to find this treatment in the state where he or she lives.

God Bless You

Hi Arnold -

I just thought you would like to hear that the Cancer Treatment Center of America is conducting a trial right now with intravenous Vitamin C that FDA is overlooking.  The patients have to have utilized all means of conventional treatments before becoming eligible for this trial but this is a good start in finding out how effective intravenous vitamin C is - especially if it works after all else has failed.  I found out about it last week when I went up for my check up.  Guess what?  My scan is clean - no cancer - I am now CANCER FREE!  As the radiation oncologist's nurse said, "Now you know why we kicked your butt last year!"  It was a rough year but worth it for the clean scan.

Diana,

I was unable to locate any clinical trials by CTCA on the website.  There are 2 gov trials currently recruiting for us of Intravenous vitamin C.

One is University of Kansas for ovarian, cervical and uterine cancer

The other is Thomas Jefferson Univ in Phila, Pa for non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

I can find no record of any trial be conducted for Intravenous Vitamin C for colon cancer.

Do you have a trial number?
