My partner has colon cancer with mets to his liver. He was diagnosed in October 2006 and has had chemo, surgery, radio frequency ablation and we both decided that was enough of the conventional treatment and have come to the Issels clinic at the Oasis of Hope hospital in Tijuana, Mexico.

I know there must be lots of people out there who are wondering like us if this is the correct way to go. Obviously we don’t know yet if it is but if anyone is interested then we will keep posting as he has his treatment.

Also, if anyone has any questions about the place or the treatment I will do my best to answer them.

I was considering Oasis for my Mother's advanced cervical cancer, but I've heard too many mixed reviews leaning more towards the negative. I don't feel 100% sold on it to go for it. I would definitely suggest you ask around......friends, colleagues, nurses, doctors, everyone.... I did ask a lot of people and didn't find great answers.

No the treatment did not work - although I do think that it does work for some people but not people who have colon cancer
