However.... he has very bad headaches, and now he is vomitting. He is Palliative, we know this. But, I have read that increased intracranial pressure is usually what kills GBM patients. How fast once it gets out of control? I'm assuming increased swelling while on 16mg/day is NOT good. We have a nurse on the way to our house right now. My husband is also on hospice care. 4 weeks ago he ended up in the hospital with vomiting and increased pressure. The ER docs started intravenous decadron and within a short time my hubby felt much better. He had major tumor growth came home on hospice. he's doing really well, as well as can be expected.
