I have been battling it since the age of 2. I just found out in April that the papilloma are in my lungs. I found out in June that it is squamous cell carcinoma. It is considered Stage IV because I have one large tumor in my upper right lobe and small ones in my middle and lower lobes. I am supposed to start chemo in about a week after I get my power port Monday. I am really hoping to find others that may have my condition to discuss treatment since the condition is so rare and is likely what lead to the cancer development (papilloma is a virus that causes warty tumors to grow out of control....there are over several types...I have the type that grows in the airway). At this point, the doctors say they will just have to try some different methods and see what works. I hope there is someone out there. survivorinlife Wed, 30 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT
