My 27 year old son was diagnozed with lymphoma in January of 2005. He started chemotherapy on Februay 7, 2005, besides vommiting and some weakness each time he received chemo treatment, he was doing well. I gave him every possible vitamins to keep his immune system up. However, for the past several weeks he complained of headaches until the headaches became more excruciatingly unbearable which enable him to sleep and ultimately insomnia sets in. Every type of pain killer was prescribed to him including morphene but they provided no releive. Now my son is in the intensive care unit with a newly installed pacemaker in his chest and he seems to be fighting for his live more than ever.
Could these headaches be the side effects of the chemotherapy? Do you have any suggestions how to ease his pain?.
