RE: nasal cancer?

If i had sinus cancer would something show up in my blood work and do my symptoms sound like cancer. anyone that can help or have a comment would be great thanksHello,What you are describing can of course be a simple infection, or sinus problems. But it is pretty familar sounding from the HEAD AND NECK section of this message board, and my own personal experience. I was told, and this is only what I was told, that blood work does not show head and neck cancers. Suggest for your own peace of mind that you get your doctor to make an appt. with an Ear Nose and Throat doctor as the first step. He/She will inspect your mouth and do a simple insert of a small tube with a very tiny camera down your nose into your throat to look at the area. There are a lot of things in there that you can't see from the outside. The back of the tongue (not the part you see when you stick out your tongue), the tonsils, etc.Don't put this off, if it is nothing you can go on with your life and not worry any further. But should it be something, the earlier it is found the better and the cure rate is higher the earlier found. Suggest you repost your message under Head and Neck category, you will find many people there who will be able to help. Best to you, D.
