Hi Life Force
Welcome! I practice tong ren with Tom once a week at "guinea pig" class and have for almost two years. I took the training last year in July. Also do back up dolling with in-betweeners a few times a week, and occasionally on other calls. Feel like I've been here alone forever, and mention tong ren from time to time, but never get much response. I'm considering adding another call for IB group since Tom encourages all the stage 4's to get worked on daily and the group has become dear to my heart. We are having some amazing results, and the cancer conference calls have really been growing a lot over the past month or two. Tom is mentioning them quite a bit during class, and the statistics they're compiling look really good. Can't wait for Dr. Sullivan's presentation at Integrative Oncology Conference in November for last years survey results to be published.
We use tong ren for my husband whose stage 4 esophageal cancer dx was 12/1/05, and we have had several met recurrences to his lungs so we have needed to do chemo a few times, but our oncologist is always blown away by how well Patrick does with his treatments, and really we have already beaten the odds for esophageal by a lot. Although the EC comes back, it never behaves the way she expects it to (which has been a good thing for us). I've done chemo without tong ren, chemo with tong ren once a week in class, and chemo with weekly class, daily treatment either on calls or by me. The results have only gotten better as we have increased tong ren usage. I don't sit to receive much, but my health has been remarkable which seems odd to me for a longterm caregiver...but I love it.
Again...welcome. Namaste. Suya
