Hello!  My sister has angiosarcoma and is interested in speaking to anyone that has had success with IV Vitamin C.  Any useful information is appreciated. She is living in the Washington DC area, so if anyone knows of a clinic in that area please pass the information on.  If you feel more comfortable sending me an email, --Message edited by CancerCompass staff. Hi

As Ray said, Shemay has had success with the IV Vit C but she is in Canada and is being treated there.  She might know of other places in the U.S. though.  The Cancer Treatment Center is conducting trials right now - at least at the Zion, IL facility and they do pay for flights to the center.  I was treated there and was very happy with them.  They also have a limo that picks you up at the airport and transports you to the center.  They have a huge "house" with community family room and kitchen with bedrooms stationed around the perimeter - very nice - that you can stay at during treatment for a very minimal cost.  Most of the hotels in the area cater to patients also - have shuttles that make several runs a day to the center.  However, to be accepted into the trials you must have used all conventional treatments available to you without success.

Good morning Ray and Diana I have been in contact with lisalisa08. I'm sure she appreciates your concern and help. In case there are others who wish to research alternative clinics that might offer Intravenous vitamin C I do have two links to directories that might be helpful. ______________________________________________________________ http://www.cancure.org/home.htm http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Alternative/Naturopathy/Practitio ______________________________________________________________ Also, Diana I know how concerned you are about your friend and I am hoping the following information will be helpful. My med/alt doctor highly recommends this form of Vitamin C which I personally take along with my regular daily dosage of ascorbic. The information given on the video by Dr. Levy is very encouraging. http://www.livonlabs.com/ Take care Sheila

I been in contact with a a doctor in arizona, his website is drjoebrown.com or his number is 602 421 2613

he is a stage four cancer survivor himself and did no chemo or radiation!

Are you telling us that you have just talked to him on the telephone?  I went to his website and he just graduated in 2005.  When I am looking for a doctor who will hold my life in his hands I want one that is a littler more experienced or at least has an older doctor overseeing him.  Also, I would have to question any doctor that has enough time to talk to people individually on the phone.  It would be nice but if he is a great doctor how could he take time out of his busy schedule to talk to me BEFORE I am even a patient.  You seem to be convinced he is for real but before recommending him to others it might be better to wait until you've at least had treatment that has shown results from him before endorsing him.

As an example, my husband and his partner hired an attorney to do their bookkeeping for a new company.  I asked my hubby how an attorney had the time to do bookeeping AND besides that - how did they know he was qualified to do bookkeeping (his education was law).  Turned out I was right - they had to fire him a couple of months later after he made numerous mistakes.

If Dr. Brown turns out to be legit (or if he is not) please let us know then.

My son  is getting his vitamin c infusions 3x/wk at The George Washington University Center for Integrative Medicine.  He just started there 2 weeks ago. So far/So good. They are great people. The doc's name is Dr. John Pan.  My understanding is that they treat several cancer patients. My son is the first child they have treated. Hope this helps.
