Sorry I mean no disrespect but are you kidding? It might come back but not as bad? That's like saying you're a little pregnant but not sure...

If the cancer comes back he has no way in predicting how bad or what stage even.  The thing is we don't know that Armidex does avoid cancer at all costs. Women who take the drug faithfully still develop METS.  In fact many  die  who develop  a recurrence .I could give you several examples of this very issue of women I have known who have recently died from METS. who took not only Arimidex but the others in hoping it would work its magic instead of crippling pain.

Couldn't you get those handles that have suction cups on them to put od the walls or the tub so you can get in and out on your own?  I am sure you can get them at kmarts or walmarts or hardware store.  Maybe even at Bed Bath and Beyond. I believe they are inexpensive. Is there someone that maybe can install a bar on the wall of your bathroom so you can take a nice long hot bath? Sorry just trying to find ways you can enjoy a relaxing bath.  Sounds like you would like to if able.

Wow, I don't mean to sound stupid but what does METS stand for?  This is the first I am hearing about this from anyone on this board.

I had stage 2 BC put it did not get to my lymph nodes. I still had to go throuh the 6 rounds of chemo and radiation 5x's a week for 8 weeks and a lumpectomy. I didn't think I would have to go through a hysterectomy but I did.  I just don't want to myself through anymore not when the odds are still either or on those dreadfull meds they put me on. So I want to detox my body and take it from there don't know how it will go but it has to be better than what the side effects of these pills are.

METS means METASTATIC that it has spread to other areas  ie::soft organs, brain, lymph nodes, bone.

I was diagnosed with Stage3 Grade3 Multifocal Breast Cancer with several  definite  lymph node involvement.I had more than 3 malignant tumors removed had a  mastectomy, the following year my second breast  was removed.

I'm sorry, I do know what metastatic means just never seen anyone use the word METS for short.  That is what happen with my sister it went into her rib cage on the same side she had the BC. She didn't have neither of her breast removes but by time they finish cutting her it sure look like they did.

By the way I had stage 1 uterus cancer needed no treatment by a hysterectomy and my breast cancer was a 2.1 mm very small had lumpectomy and radiation and my doctors tell me I am going to be fine. Yes I am depressed and hope it never comes back and i am on armidex and if it comes back it will be treated again. If you have not good things to say and scare people dont write on here and dont tell women if it comes back they will die everyones situation is different!!! You are stupid!!!

I wrote this and I have no intention of changing my words to make it seem less .

Please read what I wrote again.

I did not say ALL women die I said MANY I also said I could give you examples. I have lost 5 friends this year who were women taking these particular drugs in hopes they did not  have a recurrence. They did. If you are scared good , because when it comes to this horrendous disease you need to learn to be your own advocate.Find out what's best for you . If it works  then  thats the whole point.  I am simply stating  sometimes the drug does not have the same effect on everyone. One size does not fit all circumstances.
