Need help- don't know what questions to ask

Hello.  My mother was just told that she has several hard nodules and cysts on her liver.  She had a sono dut to side pain yesterday.  She has an appointment for a scan on Wed.  This is all overwhelming.  I usually can keep my head on straight, but my mother also has a benign 9 cm tumor on her pancreas, so I am very worried.  She had breast cancer 15 years ago and has been clear.  I can't begin to think of what questions to ask the doc.  I know they leave out some info and the right questions help you get a more accurate idea of what is happening.  If anyone has suggestions sbout which questions to ask, I would appreciate it.  I feel so helpless.  Thanks, LJ

Be prepared. Write all your questions down b/f your vist. They do not tell if you do not ask..
