My husband was told the same thing in the beginning but after it metastasized they started doing chemo. He is currently receiving Doxorubicin here at MD Anderson Cancer Center. We will know on Oct. 27th if it has done any good. Good luck!

Wishing your husband good luck with the Doxil.

My wife has just had three rounds of Doxil.

She was asked to suck ice while the infusion was being done-- to prevent mouth sores. It worked-- but she got a severe rash on arms and legs.

Hope you get good news on 27th!

How did your wife's cancer respond to the Doxil? What are they telling her? I can't let myself think about what is after the 27th! Will they want to do another round? Will we have to spend a 3rd month away from home? It is so hard to be away from our family. Both grandkids have had birthdays that we missed. We are missing the changing of the leaves at home in WV & that is my favorite time of year. Hope your wife is feeling better.

I just got done with chemo, radiation and surgery. I am going to get some more chemo as a follow up. Chemo has been efective for me! The Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN is a great place they know a lot about liposarcoma.
