RE: I need some advice!

Have you been looking at the lab reports, all along? If your entire cervix is truly diseased, as the doctor said, why were you not sent to a GYN/ONC? And why did the doctor not do a cold knife cone biopsy? Was it in the endocervical glands? I truly hope the results are good. But it sounds like you might want to consider getting a different doctor for your follow-up healthcare, from here on out. If it really is that bad, insist on seeing a GYN/ONC.If your cervix is that bad, you may qualify for a trachelectomy. It removes the cervix but leaves the uterus intact for fertility purposes. Here are some links.http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=12131 http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/453234 http://www.cancerwise.org/January_2008/display.cfm?id=19DE8C I hope this helps you get started in gathering information! Again, please look at all of the lab reports. That will be your first step in deciding what is best for your condition and your body.

I need some advice!

I am 20 years old and i have had female problems for as long as i can remember. When i was 15 i had a laproscopy due to a period that lasted about 5 months. I've never had normal periods. I was also on the shot for about 2 years and i worry about my fertility, and now this. In Aug of 2007 i had a miscarraige and a D&C and then in Sept i had a pap test that came back normal. I went on about my business and in June of 2008 i had a second misscarraige with D&C and a pap on the 30th of June following. My doctor said i am positive for HPV high strains and he wanted to do a colposcopy and biopsy. After the procedure i wait about a week to get the results. The doctor called and told me that i needed to come to the office. My results showed severe displaysia of the cervix and the canal. the doctor then said he needed to do a leep/cone procedure and he only needed to take two sections. I had the procedure done on the 26th of Aug and i am now awaiting the results from the pathologist. After surgery the doctor said that my entire cervix was diseased. I don't know really what to do or what to expect. he told me if i wanted to have kids i need to start in about two months as long as the reports come back ok. if they don't does anyone know what i should expect next? I went from having nothing wrong to severe displaysia in about a year and it is progressing very fast. I don't have any idea really what do to or think. All i know is i want to have a child and i don't know if i'll get that chance.
