My mom was just diagnosed with gallbladder cancer which has spread to the liver.  She is 88 years old.  She doesn't want to be operated and we haven't seen the oncologist yet.  We are't sure if we want to go that route either....since she is fairly week already and would like to keep the quality of life...I understand there may be some alternative medicines that may help stop these growths and strengthen her immune system which would help as well.  Could someone please suggest something(s) that would benefit her.  Since her biopsy she has lost her appetite however forces herself to eat and she uses a couple of advil when necessary for pain.  Anything anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much.

I would suggest going to a naturalpath who will be able to work with her on which supplements she should take, and also what her diet should be.  They can help a lot.  I personally would never go through chemo after seeing how it brought down my Dad, a 55 yr old strong, otherwise healthy man.  I cant imagine what it would do to an 88 year old woman.  That's just my opinion.  I am sorry to hear about your mom, god bless you and your family, I hope for the best for you.

I agree with the advice that your Mom should see a naturopath. There they will do necessary testing (BTA, dark field microscopy, blood work etc.) to pinpoint her deficiencies and then recommend supplements and diet changes etc which can be instrumental in bringing her inner terrain back into a balanced state. Healthy bodies are capable of fighting off diseases naturally. She may decide to take conventional treatment after her meeting with the oncologist and if this is the case she would still be wise to have the advise of an alternative practitioner since many substances and supplements can be helpful in easing the side effects of traditional treatment as well as making those treatments more effective. BTA / DARK FIELD MICROSCOPY TESTING http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/17/23/05.html .............. http://www.taracentre.com.au/Services/Ev-methods/bio-terrain ..................... http://www.taracentre.com.au/Services/Ev-methods/Darkfield.h ..............Please keep us posted on your mom's progress. Blessings.......Sheila

Thanks for your reply IIland....yes, I went to the naturopath today who advised me to give my mother a few things....that can be used even if she desides to undergo chemo.  Yes, I've heard that chemo is difficult, at the best of times.  What type of cancer did your dad have?  How is he?
