I am confused when reading about soy milk (unsweetened).  I've read it is very good for cancer patients and just now I've read that it's acidic.  Just wondering about your thoughts.  It it's not good what kind of milk is is better???? rice/???.....but then white rice is acidic as well????

try brown rice milk, or almond milk

I have a recipe for the brown rice milk as well

you can find a recipe for almond milk online. I have never used it, as I found the brown rice milk to meet my needs. Works wonderfully in cooking and baking, and is not bad on cereal.  The only thing I don't use it for is if my partner wants a glass of milk to drink - the brown rice milk is pretty flavorless  - not real good to chug straight down. You can also get commercially produced organic rice milk at some grocery stores and health food stores - you just have to make sure the carton says brown rice milk.

If you want milk for drinking, see if you can find fresh raw milk from a dairy or farm that grass feeds their cows and doesn't give them any hormones. An even better option is fresh raw goat's milk - it is much more digestible for humans.  Some health food stores sell both.
