Presribed a dozen different ointments, changed my diet, etc. I am now (8/09) free from pruitis ani. The cure? Wet wipes after a bowel movement (fragrance free) and bactine spray. Yes--bactine after every poo. It doesn't sting--feels a little cold, but hey---it works. If you try these two simple steps after each bm i swear you'll never again want to scratch your bum till it bleeds!
