I'm very sorry for you, it sounds exactly what happened to my husband last year. Five years ago, was dx with cirhosis, then Oct 07 was dx with liver cancer. (mets to bone-breaking arm was the dx). Late stage dx, but Nexavar kept him going for almost nine months. Kidneys were also failing, urine extremely yellow, as was his skin and eyes. So sad to watch these things happen, when there is nothing you can do!
Confusion in his case came only about 10 days prior to him passing. He also had the extreme bleed, the drs. expected, was put in hospital the end of June, and he passed away July 9th. The last few days were somewhat "good" for the situation. Wanted to go outside, visit with family and friends, but when the end was near, he went downhill very quickly. Fell into a coma late on the 8th and the end came the morning of the 9th. I was with him, it was sad, but peaceful. I'm so glad I was there with him at the end.
I know what you are going through and my thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time.
