I have Barrette's Esophagus and have my endoscopes on a regular
basis. However lately my stomach has been achy and my doc had me have
an upper G.I. Turns out they found "rugal pattern" and now I am
scheduled for a biopsy. My dad had stomach cancer so I know I am at
risk.
Besides the stomach discomfort I feel bloated and nauseous after eating, I get tired and I bleed.
My
question is, are there others things the rugal pattern can be
associated with besides cancer? The wait between the upper G.I. and the
biopsy is three weeks which isn't really long but it sure feels like
it. So, can someone make my day and tell me it could just be indicative
of an irritated stomach? Thanks
