Which numbers on the PH scale are alkaline -- the lower numbers or the higher numbers? Nothing in my test kit states which end of the scale is optimum.

here's your answer regarding ph. 7.0 is the neutral area anything below is considered acidic, and anything above is alkaline. From what I hear the more alkaline you are the better. Cancer grows better in a more acidic state.

Just go to your local health store and ask them if they have litmus paper or ph testing strips. The best time to test your ph is the first thing when you get up. You can either test by your saliva or urine. The urine is the best way.

How can a person get their body to a more alkaline condition and does it hurt it to keep it there for a while?
