I was cut from hip to hip and it was like being harpooned by that time. They wouldn't put it in IV but said it had to be IM. I was never told I had cancer but to be cleaned out like a Halloween Pumpkin for what he said was "You've got black spots" after a biopsy is questionable. He said the surgery would take under 1 hour when I went in and my husband said that the Dr. came out after three hours. Is this normal? I was told I didn't need paps any more but wondering if I should seek advice elsewhere. Anyone have similar experience and does this sound like cancer to you? I'm currently fighting 2nd year of aggressive thyroid cancer, and my aunt was diagnosed as having ovarian cancer a few years ago. CLL
I am sorry for your doctor's treatment of you. I suggest you talk to your hospital's patient advocate or ombudsman about your experience
If you are unsure of diagnosis, ask for copies of your pathology, radiology and surgical reports. I havew never seen reports of any association between adenomyosis and cancer.
As a cancer survivor myself, I understand your concern, especially when you were given incomplete information.
