My mom was diagnosed with a GBM (glioblastoma) in March of this year 08. The diagnosis was made after removal of what they thought was a mengioma. It turned out to be a stage 4 GBM. We've done the radiation and Tremador treatments only to find out the turmor had returned with avengance. It started in her left frontal lobe and is now in both lobes and either swelling or tumor is compressing the vessical which feeds the brain stem :(. This week she went to St. Louis to be tested for the new treatment of CP11 and Avastin. It appears she will be a canidate. We finally have HOPE. I would like stories of sucess, failure, love, hope or anything to do with this cancer and its stories. I hope there is support out there for families dealing with this awfull creature. I will keep this posted with her sucess and treatments. God bless you all. Himy brother had 4 tumors aa grade3 they went away w.temodar that was over 21/2 years ago. one is back but they are using avastin and it is working. sending prayers for your Mom
