Started 2nd round of Nexavar -

My mom has been off her first round of nexavar for a week - due to the hand/foot syndrome side affect.....dr. started her again yesterday at 1/2 the dosage 1x a.m. and 1x p.m - she was taking 2 pills 2x a day --- she started @ 10:30 in a.m. and by 4-5:00 began being very uncomfortable - by six her buttocks, legs, arms were already broken out again...this time more discomfort...we are waiting to hear from dr. this a.m. - surprised she would have this quick of reaction on a lower dosage? Has anyone experienced this on Nexavar?

Hi, I am sorry I can't answer your question about Nexavar since my hubby is on Torisel and we haven't tried the Nexavar yet, but I just wanted to say that I hope your Mom is doing better.  It is so difficult seeing those we love have to go through this cancer nightmare.  You are in my prayers.
