RE: What to know if i am having throat cancer or not?

I would suggest you tell your doctor what your fears are and if he feels a CT scan would be in order. As for insurance if the doctor feels a scan would be appropriate you could ask him if your insurance will pay for it - I'm pretty sure he could have someone who works for him help you with that to find out. Good luck to you.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yeah i am trying to stop completely. I have an appointment next week , i will let you know once i get the result.
So do i need to specifically ask for CT scan?
Is my insurance will cover for that?

RE: What to know if i am having throat cancer or not?

If you can talk your doctor into giving you a CT scan then you could possibly have a better idea if it's throat cancer. In the meantime if you can completely stop smoking I'm sure that could be of help (probably easier said than done though I'm sure). My thoughts are with you. Let us know how you are doing.
