Hi Im looking for some advice and information. My mum got diagnosed with secondary tumors on her liver at the beginning of the summer they cant find the primary site even after taking biopsys - 6 of them. She went to the old swan nhs homeopathic hospital and the doctor there said that she might benefit from mistletoe injections and that she would be able to get them on the nhs however when our GP tried to refer her we were told that the injections would not be funded. I need to know if any one out there knows of someone who has benefited from mistletoe injections as i'm going to see my local MP to try and get support in getting my mum these injections but i need to show him that they work. My mum has paid into the system for over 40 years and I think it is disgusting that she cant get the treatments that could be benificial and if nothing else improve the quality of life for the time she has left. My mother is a wonderful person who has devoted her life to raising me and my 10 other siblings, shes just seen her first great grand child born and we all want her to at least have some time to see him and her 17 grandchildren grow up. Please if anyone can tell me where to get information or if you have benefited from the mistletoe injections please get in touch we are not ready to lose our mum yet and we're desperate to do anything to ease the pain and sickness she suffering thanks for taking the time to read this rowena

Anthroposophical Medicine More than 1,000 doctors in Europe follow the medical principles developed by Rudolph Steiner ( a follower of Goethe) known as Anthroposophical approach (literally the wisdom of the human body). This approach is very firmly based on herbal and supplement support. A recent article in the British press quoted the case of Mrs Pam Evans, 54, who had breast cancer. She refused chemotherapy and instead had mistletoe injections (iscador) directly into the tumour. The tumour disappeared and lymph nodes cleared. The injections were supplemented by a rigid vegan diet, vitamins, acupuncture and
relaxation techniques. Mrs Evans said: "I don't think you should rely on any one alternative therapy. You should do a package that addresses the whole body".
