My mom was recently told that she has a tumor in her bile duct, and that she needs to have the Whipple procedure. She's in the Kaiser system. Does anyone know who's best at the Whipple procedure within the Kaiser system? Can she go outside of the system if recommended by her doctor? If so, there are many doctors listed in this section and in the gallbladder section. Also check the pancreatic cancer posts.
