In January 2008 my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer stage IV with mets to his liver and lungs.  After trying several alternative methods with no success, we made an appointment with Kurt Peterson in February 2009.

I regret to say that it simply did not work for my husband.  The tumors continued to grow and multiply.  I do believe that Mr. Peterson is genuine and know that he has helped many people with cancer.  Different things work for different people.  Energy healing has been going on for hundreds of years and I do believe it has substance.  Just didn't work this time.  I do not regret our decision to try---just regret that it didn't help.

Just wanted to give a quick update.  I'm flying to Las Vegas tomorrow with my wife.  My appointment with the energy healer Kurt Peterson, will be on Thursday.  As promised, I will report back everything that happens.  I'm getting somewhat nervous and quite excited about the trip.  I hope that it is not in vain.  We are making a vacation out of it, and will spend five days.  I believe that the desert air will be good for my lungs.  I should be posting another update when I return on   Saturday.    

My appointment with Mr. Peterson seemed to go well.  We saw him at the Luxor hotel while in Las Vegas.  We showed up at his suite in the morning and I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but he wasn't what I pictured.  He's a middle aged gentleman, very conservative, seemed educated about cancer and health in general.  He had me lay on a bed in the room and ran his hands over my body for about an hour while taking notes.  After this he told me where he had found cancerous areas in my body (actually got it right), and then we started again.  He would hold his hands against different areas of my body for minutes at a time, and then change areas.  This would go on for around an hour, and then he'd take a break.  We had lunch with him and got to learn a little about him and his life.  During the treatment, I really didn't notice anything different as far as I knew.  This went on until 7 p.m. and then he announced that we were done.  I paid $7,500 for the treatment, and won't know for a few months whether it was worth it.  He told me that in about a month, I should feel better.  Apparently, lung cancer is his speciality, and I should be healed within a few months.  Overall I would say that I was a little disappointed with the whole experience.  I will change this opinion if what he say's will happen (that I will be in remission) happens.  I will continue to update the community here each couple of weeks to give further updates.  Right now I'm feeling pretty good and am staying positive about it all.

Just a quick update.  It's been ten days since my last update.  I've been having night sweats every night for the last week.  I'm feeling very drained and low on energy.  I will be seeing my Onc next week and will try to get some labs done.  Keeping positive about my recovery and waiting for some relief.  Will update in another week or two when I have something concrete to report.  "T"

I have some good news to report.  I had a CT scan done on Friday.  Today I got the results back.  Of the five tumors in my lungs;  left lung 2.7 cm, and 3.1 cm with "branching", right lung 3.2, 2.1, and 2.2 cm, I've had the two tumors in the left lung disappear and the three in my right lung have shrunk to 1.7, 1.1, and 1.3 cm.

I also had about 12 lymph nodes "suspected or confirmed" of cancer.  Of those, all of the swelling is now gone...(unsure of the cancer amount as I didn't want a needle biopsy done, and the CT wasn't detecting it). 

The tumor that had been on my liver previously measured 2.7 cm, and now measures 1.1 cm. 

I am feeling much better and have absolutely no phlegm over-production.  Managed to put on about 6 pounds.  I really feel that this is working, however will not rest just yet.   This is the first positive news that I've had in a year!

Will continue to report to the community as my health changes, either good or bad.  I cannot get another scan for 2 or 3 months, but will report any changes in the way I'm feeling.  I know that I'm going to beat this.  "T"

I have just come onto this site. I am happy to hear about such positive news! Never give up hope! Are you also regularly getting chemo? You might also want to look at reiki - it's also another form of energy healing. I am always eager to learn about complementary/ integrated treatment. I've introduced my mom who has stomach ca to reiki, and we also take some herbal supplements and vitamins, and juice regularly - nothing too extreme i think. Are you doing anything else with your treatment?

You must be ecstatic!   I look forward to your keeping us updated as time goes by.  

I would just like to caution you though about having too many scans done.  If you do some research on the subject you will find that the radiation they cause is cumulative.  http://health.msn.com/health-topics/cancer/articlepage.aspx?

Not that I want to rain on your parade at this joyful time but it's always best to be informed.

I'd be really interested to know if Mr. Peterson counselled you at all regarding diet or life style changes etc to follow to reinforce your immune system and support his treatment. I find this all so fascinating so really appreciate your sharing your experience.

Just another quick update.  Still feeling very good.  Won't get another scan for at least two more months.  Mr. Peterson actually did counsel me on proper nutrition and exercise after my treatment.  It's always good advice, and I practice it daily.  I try to juice at least once a day, and I try to walk at least two to three miles.  My breathing is excellent right now!  I'm no longer taking any chemo as it wasn't helping and my onc said I was resistant.  I think the suggestion of the Reiki is excellent.  I'm going to find one near my residence and start seeing him or her.  Kurt had told me that any other followup complementary treatments would not hinder his treatment.  Although I'm feeling good, I noticed that Kurt had an accident last week and injured himself.  Hope that he gets better real soon.  He's very unique and I think he will heal himself;  fingers crossed.  Will report another update in a couple of weeks.

I hope and pray that you continue to feel good.  God and the knowledge that he has given Drs. can heal you - no one else can.  I do want you to continue on in this life!

FINALLY!  I have great news!  I had a ct done on Friday and got the report over the phone today.  My scan came back clean.  No sign of tumors in my lungs or liver!  I almost feel high, I am so adrenalin rushed.  From the time I learned my diagnosis from my onc too today, I knew that I would be able to beat this horrible disease.  My Onc is almost shocked, which I found amusing.  He said to not count my chickens yet until I can do a followup scan in three months;  what is he kidding?

My wife and I are booking a summer trip to go up to Lake Michigan and go camping to celebrate.  I want to thank Kurt for everything he did for me.  I also want to thank the members of the community who rooted me along.  Most of all I want to thank my wife and family for helping me through this.  A special thanks to my wife's brother Ron, for his assistance when I really needed it.

I am going to get back to living, and will never take anything for granted again!
