My dad started Radiation therapy yesterday (external beam), for various tumors that were found to be near his spine and causing sciatica-like pain down his leg. He will have 10 total treatments, but after only one day insists that he can already feel an improvement in his back and leg pain. Do some people actually start feeling results that quickly?
