Blood in urine

Thanks to everyone here for sharing and helping - it means so much.

My husband had one kidney removed due to RCC.  He has a growth on remaining kidney that doc feels is a cyst and monitors.  His kidney function is about 50%. His last urine test said there was blood (25, whatever that means) present in his urine.  The doctor did not mention it - but I am worried.  Any advice appreciated.
