Essiac Tea, 4 herbs or 8 herbs

Hello!  I found that there are mainly two different herbal compositions of the Essiac Tea.

One is the public domain, which consists of 4 herbs.

The other is 8 herbs, not public domain, sold as a product,  FlorEssence, and the herbal mixture powder is sold by a separate company also.  Apparently those two 8 herb formulaes are diffrent in terms of the amount of each herb because 8 herb formula is not in the public domain.

Please share your experience with those 2 diffrent formulae.

One of our family members was taking FlorEssence for 2 months starting Nov 2--7, then swiched to 4 herb formula, which is also a product, for 2 months, now self brewing based on 4 herb formula.

The current status of the lung cancer (NSCLC Stage IIIa) is once decreased in size to about 1 inch, the mets in mediastinal lymph node was gone, after 1st line chemo and radiation which started in November 2007.

In July 2008,  recurrence was found and the 2nd line chemo, which did not work well,  and the 3rd line chemogoing on now.

I am wondering 8 herb formula is better than 4 herb formula. Any comment on this is greatly appreciated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From what I understand from my alternative health care practitioners and from my own research, the original Essiac Tea is the four herb formula. I have used it since my diagnosis in 2004 as just one part of my alternative protocol. This page claims that 4 herb formula is not the original Essiac formula.

It is 8 herb formula.

This  makes me wonder which is better, not which is genuine.  I do not care which is the genuine original formula.

 Although the story that Ms. Caisse did give the 4 herb formula to the bogus guy, not the 8 herb formula which was used in the Brusch Medical Clinic looks interesting, there is no logical and rational way to prove which is genuine, I think.

 

What matters here for all cancer patients is which cures better.

Will it be impossible to find out whether the Brusch Medical Clinic used 8 herb formula or 4 herb formula ?

I have been takingt Essiac  ... now since Sept 10/08

long before my diagnosis, or surgery...

I felt I should

all summer   so I decided to splurge & buy it

due to our families ecconomic budget...  buying this is  a sacrifice.. and yet   

I decided if I am sick. and I need it then its  PRIORITY  here in CANADA

is costs about $32 a bottle... 

I ahve made the tea but find it hard too.. sieve..  and  Im very fatigued so  taing 4 tsp 2 times a day has been easy to do in premix concentrated bottle...

 

i wish i knew how much was too much.... now that I have a diagnosis of a cancer that is agressive..

 

any info witll help me

I take it twice a day

4 tsps in the monring & last thing before going to bed;

the first day I took it, I seriosuly felt my body yell inside me  YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS..........  like it was thanking me

Essiac Testimony

Prior to taking it  I  had some severe pain....  felt like "soemting" had attached itself to my bladde r& was pulling.... almost a pas out kind of pain... after urination.... but not like when you ahve infection this was... exactly like "something" pulling or tugging at my bladder...

 I started taking Essiac....  and with in a week to 10 days that pain stopped completly

I had surgery almost 3 weeks ago and  while in hosptial i was not taking any of my natural apth meds...  in case they interferred with medications,from hospital .

I started taking Esiac again immediately when I returned home...

its a part of my day reieme now... wouldnt miss it

 

 

Can anyone recommend where I can purchase Essiac in Massachusetts?  My Dad has finished all available "approved" chemo treatment for his colon cancer.  I would like to give him some of this quickly.
