Anyone else out there?

I just turned 25 a few months ago, I am 25 weeks pregnant and I have breast cancer.... I am just curious if anyone else out there is as young as I am. I have stage 2A Ductal negative lymph node , I just had a lumpectomy, axillary lymph nodes removed also and going to begin chemo in a week, I'm really scared of how I'm going to feel while getting chemo since being pregnant and already weak, tired and nauseated I heard there are nausea drugs out there to help with that but still very scared. I'm going to start with a chemo cocktail of Cytoxin and Adrimycin and after the baby is born Taxil, herceptin, and radiation also curious if anyone else has had anything close to those treatments  I most likely didn't spell the drug names right but can hardly read the Dr's writing. Does joining a support group help with the fears of everything?

I just wanted to say that I am sooo sorry you have to go through this at a time in your life you should be focusing on the arrival of your baby.  I have two daughters, 32 and 25 and would be devastated to know they had to go through this.  I was 54 when I was diagnosed.  You sound like a strong woman and it sounds as though your cancer was found early which gives you the best chance at life.  When I was going through radiation 5 years ago, there was a 22 year old that had BC and had lost her breast etc.  I still think of her today.  I was diagnosed with melanoma at the age of 21 and had extensive surgery but did not go through chemo or radiation.  I was spared chemo with my BC diagnosis but did have radiation.  I have also been diagnosed with thyroid cancer a year ago and had to have radiation ablation therapy (taking an oral isotope capsule).  How will the treatment you have mentioned affect your baby??  Best of luck to you both.

They told me the treatments would do nothing to the baby saying the chemo drugs won't go past the placenta, they keep assuring me of that but still you have to wonder......
