My husband was diagnosed with HCL in March 2002. This is a very rare type of leukemia from what we were told. At the time only about 600 cases in the world. They told us that it mostly affects men around 40 or older. He just had his 40th birthday in Feb of 2002. There is so much I can tell you, but right now I don't have the time. I'm at work. Where are you located? Jeff was treated by a local oncologist, but he is known world wide. His name is Dr. Khojastah (? on spelling). We are in central Missouri. Jeff has been in remission since late 2002. I'll be in touch with more info.
