I am starting my pump-ups now after having my tissue expanders put in. I am just curious as to how much women normallly get put in before getting the implants. I am a small framed women. I have no but or hips. I weight about 135. My friend has implants and has a total of 300cc. When I got the expanders in my doc put 250cc in one breast and 200cc in the other. I am thinking maybe another few pumpups and I will be ready for my implants. I do not want to go to big. but my friends 300cc look very big to me. She is bigger framed than me. Any advice would be appreciated. I want to look normal and not too big. I have been dealing with breast cancer since June and I am ready to just move on with my life.

Communicate this to your doctor.  When I was having implants put in due to bc, my plastic surgeon brought out three size implants, small, medium and large and left me alone and then returned and asked me what I wanted.  I always had small breasts and the opportunity to enlarge was tempting but after having bc I just wanted to look normal again.  I opted for the smalls and have been happy with my decision.  Again communicate your wishes.

Hi.I am 5'4 and 115 pounds. Was a c cup before cancer. My implants are 250 which is nearly a b cup and plenty big enough.  Just make sure before they put the implants in that they mark you in the right place. My expanders had shifted  (which they already knew) and they put them in the wrong spot and I had to redoe the surgery. It has been over a year now the pain from sewing up the pocket still hurts. They said it will hurt atleast 2 years. Best of luck. Sue
