Women who don't have BRCA mutations could have other high-risk genes that affect treatment choices

I had an xray at my local dentist last week. It showed bilateral dark spots on my jaw bone. My dentist said he was going to send these to an oral surgeon. I haven't heard any word from them a week later. I am worried, but really can't find any information regarding this. Does anyone know what this could be?
Worried and confused
