Was wondering if anyone has had Sutent, Nexavar, Torisel, Interferon, Avastin and all failed?  Husband possibly starting Interluken II, low dose next week.  RCC has metastisized to his lungs 31.9 cm largest tumor.

Anyone out there with any luck with these in combination of one another?

Also, anyone on alternative drugs for RCC?  Can you share?  Heard about The Green Pharmacy in NC for product RAAXII and AMP.

Hi Kathy,

My husband has failed sutent and nexavar but as of yet he hasn't had any other drugs.  He's in this fight since 13/06/06.  It's a long hard struggle, the secret is to try and stay positive.  While I can't offer you any advice I will keep you in my prayers and pray that your husband gets some good results.

Take care and keep us posted as to how he does.

Hi Kathy,

My husband has been on SUTENT (various doses) for the past 18 months.  He has had different side effects that have resulted in changing doses as needed.  He is currently back on the 50 MG because the tumors began to grow again as of July PET scan.  He just had his PET scan today and we will find out next Thursday if the SUTENT is still stopping the growth.  It has not decreased his tumors but has certainly slowed the groth of them.  My husband also has the cancer in several lymth nodes as well as a small lession in both lungs.  I have been on this site for a while and read messages form many that has had GREAT success with the SUTENT.

Tell you husband he will be in many peoples prayers because this site has many people praying for each other.

Take care and good luck.  Please keep us inform of you and your husbands journey.

Sandi
