Has anyone experienced Doxil,  not working after being effective about 9-10 treatments?  If yes, what was the next chemo used?

I was on Abraxane (Taxol) for almost 2 years when it stopped working and CA-125 started rising.  I took Doxil, in the beginning, it did not work and numbers went higher.  After 3 or 4 th time my CA-125 started going down,  all the way to 30,  but then now the last two time it is going up to 38 and then to 50.

I don;t have the answer for you as I am pretty much in the same boat. I have had 6 treatments with Doxil. My CA-125 went from 164 to 110 after the first treatment. Then it went down more on the next two  to 62. Now it has risen to 102. I don't know if it is becoming ineffective or if it is due to the fact that the Docs had to keep lowering the dosage because of severe hand / foot syndrome. I started the dosage at 80mgs and had to go down to 60mgs. The feet are the worst. Terrible pain, blisters, bleeding and oozing. Sometimes I can't even walk. I use bag balm, udderly smooth and every other kind of lotion I can think of. I have even used Solarcaine to try to numb the pain. (Didn't work) I do the  ice during treatment and for a week after. I take cool showers. I odn't know what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I have been on carbo/taxol, tamoxifen, gemzar, hycamtin, carbo alone, and now doxil.  What comes next????
