Hi, I have a beautiful daughter that has a terrible diease. Fibro -Lamaller

Heptacellular carcinona. We have been to Duke,Moffitt..Emory plus the ones in our state and around all local towns.  We are now trying to go to Cancer Centers of America. Primary liver with mets to the lungs and now in the lining of her stomach and behind her right kidney.

Does anyone know of anyone with this type of cancer.

Thank You,

Kelliejo

My heart goes out to you. I am not familiar with FHC, however, I have had HC for over 2-years. I have been treated at Mayo in Rochester, MN. They are certainly on top of all types of cancers regarding the liver. I think you should give a call to their hepatology and discuss your situation with them. They may have an experimental treatment that can be used.

Good Luck.

Kelliejo,

I'm very sorry to read about your daughter. I am a kidney cancer survivor and have done some research on liver cancers. There is a website that is dedicated to finding a cure for fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma called delveracure or (www.deliveracure.org). Most importantly this site has an active forum where other patients/parents talk about this disease and what treatments are being tried. I'm sorry that I don't have more information but hopefully this will lead you down that path. Good luck to you and your daughter.
