DTIC & Dasatinib Trial

I finally got some information about what treatment and clinical trial my doctors at H.Lee Moffitt think I am qualified for. The trial is using DTIC (dacarbazine) with Dasatinib to see how they interact to treat melanoma. I was reading the consent forms yesterday before I make my final decision and it states that the dacarbazine only has a 10% effectiveness. But from what I looked up online last night it's more like 15 - 20%. Has anyone here been sucessfully treated with the dacarbazine? What side effects did you have? How long was the treatment? I have a brain MRI and CT scan tomorrow and will see my doctor again on Tuesday Nov 18. Any help is greatly appreciated.
